Apotheosis
“Apotheosis” consists of a series of portraits that represent the inherent divinity. It is shot with instant film to play with the documentary tradition of portraiture without digital manipulation. The project also illustrates the uniqueness of each person, not only as an individual different from others, but also as an unique being at a specific point in time, similar but not equal to an earlier or later version of himself or herself. All this through the unpredictability and the non-reproducible nature of the format and process followed for the production of the images.
