Isla de las Muñecas

Las Isla de las Muñecas (The Island of the Dolls) is located within an extensive network of canals, south of Mexico City.

Don Julian Santana used to live alone in the island. He claimed to be haunted by the ghost of a little girl who drowned next to his island. In order to peace down the ghost he collected discarded dolls. In 2001 he was found dead by his nephew Anastasio, in the very same place where the girl drowned years ago.

Anastasio is now in charge of the island, and he decided to keep it as it was in order to honor his uncle, however he has to deal with a growing tourism while he tries to survive with the vegetables the small island produces.
